Dr. Jan Heng

Role: Assistant Professor of Pathology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School)

Dr. Jan Heng is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Harvard Medical School, Boston. She is a translational biomedical scientist with expertise in reproductive health and cancer biology. She began her career in pregnancy biomarker research with a PhD from the University of Melbourne, and later continued her work as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. She transitioned to breast cancer research at BIDMC and has applied AI methods to breast cancer research for the past 10 years.
